
NOTE : Teams that bowl in the I-5 Showdown have first shot at 24 slots for the October BIT with its estimated prize fund of $6000.
The I-5 Showdown is a fundraiser for the October Bridgetown Invitational Tournament (BIT) and pits Oregon teams against Washington teams for state bragging rights and custody of the fabulous, widely coveted I-5 Showdown trophy. This is a fun gathering with a competitive format (non-sanctioned).
The I-5 Showdown:
- When: July 16, 2022. NOTE – Check-in 9am; bowling begins 10am.
- Where: Triangle Bowl, 700 Triangle Center, Longview, WA 98632 (map)
- What: 4-bowler teams with 820 cap — highest 2021-22 USBC average. (5 handicap games head-to-head, top 2 WA and OR teams in a one-game semi-final, followed by one game exciting championship match between the top team from Oregon and Washington.)
- Cost: $220 per team ($55 per person)
- Prizes: We will have bowling ball raffles, TONS of brackets, and CASH!
- Registration: Captains must pay for a team slot to be entered. I-5 Showdown is a first-paid, first-placed tournament. A waiting list will be kept. Team numbers are assigned by the tournament director as entries are completed.
